First Reconciliation & First Communion

Registration for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and First Communion for the 2026-27 school year is now open. These sessions are designed for 2nd and 3rd-grade children and their parents.

The evening begins with an opening presentation, which includes a question for parents to discuss with their child. Then, the children leave for their 30-minute session while parents experience a presentation geared toward them. The last portion of the evening consists of a ritual prayer together. Then parents receive follow-up activities for more discussions at home.

Nine sessions help parents prepare their children. Classes begin on August 16th, 2026.  If you have any questions, please email susan@svdpks.org.
