Warming Souls 2022
Volunteers needed February 2, 3 & 4
When I was hungry, you gave me something to eat, and when I was thirsty, you gave me something to drink. When I was a stranger, you welcomed me, Mt. 25:35
Warming Souls is a partnership between HumanKind and the Wichita Diocese to provide food and shelter for the homeless and hungry in Wichita. Each year our parish supports this cause by sponsoring nine meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner; this year, we have volunteered to help on February 2, 3, 4.
We need your help in three ways:
- Pray for the homeless and hungry, especially in our community.
- Donate a little of your treasure; if you ever feel guilty about not giving to panhandlers on the street, please share with us and know your gift will go for good.
- If you can, we invite you to volunteer to serve the meal. Click on the link below or sign up after Masses this weekend.
We expect to serve about 400 meals in those three days, helping nearly 100 homeless men and 40 women and children each day.
