First Mass of Thanksgiving & Luncheon
Dear SVDP Parishioners,
I have said it before, but I will say it again: the seeds of God’s call for my life were planted here at St. Vincent’s. Your faith of loving Jesus in the Eucharist and serving Him in the poor served as a foundation for my own relationship with the Lord. And these past six years of seminary, you all have been a great source of encouragement and support in continuing to follow His call for me. Whenever I came home, I found myself greeted by your smiles, your sincere hope, and your many, many promises of prayers.
As I draw closer to my ordination to the priesthood on May 24th, I wanted to invite you to my first Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Vincent de Paul on Sunday, May 25th at 1:00 PM. A luncheon will follow in the Ville. This is my way of saying thank you to our Lord and to you for the many blessings you’ve provided me along the way.
