Laudato Si is the encyclical for the World on the “Care of our Common Home.” Pope Francis has asked that all people across the World address the harm we have inflicted on the earth by our irresponsible use and abuse of the goods with which God has endowed her.

We will follow a reader’s guide provided by the National Catholic Reporter and outlined by Fr. Thomas Reese. The encyclical has six chapters. We will do one chapter each month. Meetings will be held on Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at St Vincent’s beginning October 27. When sign-ups are complete (by October 18), you will be provided with more information, dates, and a website to download the encyclical. You will also receive the outline of questions we will use for discussion. Angie Urenda and Pat Mulligan will be facilitating the group.
