LIFE 2009 March : Resurrection

Tonight, we are looking at these words from the Creed. For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered, died, & was buried. On the third day he rose again in fulfillment of the Scriptures. As a Church, we are entering into the holy days of Lent and Easer time, when we remember the dying and rising of Jesus, and the hope it gives us. We don't just remember it as a story from long ago past, but as an ongoing reality in our own lives.

We first will take a look at three scenes. A Gardner planting his seed, an Aircraft Worker who has been laid off, and the biblical account.

The evening will end with a prayer of hope, a prayer that will remind us that the death and resurrection of Jesus makes all the difference.
